"MIRAPHONE" MUSIC BOX, PHONOGRAPH & DISK CABINET
A stunningly beautiful, rare, "Miraphone", combining the unique richness of sound of a 12" double-comb Mira disk music box and a Columbia phonograph attachment. Made at the end of the music box era by Mermod Freres of Switzerland, and imported to the U.S. under the Miraphone name, these were made in very low numbers due to the demise of interest in music boxes with the advent of "talking machines". This fully restored showpiece features an original, matching base cabinet for disk and record storage. Comes with 24 original Mira music disks, and a supply of records and needles. #375
