HERZOG CYLO-PHONE CABINET
A wonderful "Cylo-Phone" cabinet, made by the renowned Herzog Art Furniture Company in 1908. Perhaps their most unusual and decorative design.
The top half of the cabinet housed a cylinder phonograph, which connected to an integral horn, directing the sound out of the cabinet. The front doors open to reveal the phonograph compartment. It is shown here with a Columbia "BE", but many other phonographs will fit as well. The bottom shelves are for cylinder storage, with 120 pegs.
The purpose of this design was to hide the "ugly" components and provide a cabinet that would be comfortable in the most elegant of homes.
We have had the the cabinet professionally conserved polished, retaining the original finish. #6001
HERZOG STYLE VICTOR VI CABINET
We recently commissioned a master cabinetmaker to recreate an exact copy of an original Herzog record cabinet; one specifically designed and built in the early 1900's to accommodate a Victor VI.
Every detail is exactly as original, down to the gold-plated hardware, needle cups, etc. The construction, as original is from solid mahogany.
This cabinet took over two years to manufacture; it will withstand the closest scrutiny of the most discerning collectors. #605c
DOUBLE-ROUND RECORD CABINET
This "double round" disk record cabinet was made by Salter and is a visual delight. Solid oak construction, with a hand-carved lion at the center; each of the two sides houses felt-lined record dividers that are indexed for easy retrieval of your favorite record. There is also a side compartment that sides out for needle storage. A very rare and desirable cabinet. #6096
(The HMV Senior Monarch shown atop the cabinet is available separately - #6794 - page 6f)
HERZOG CYLINDER CABINET
We have just acquired another, fabulous "Full Round" cabinet by Herzog. The interior shelves have numbered cylinder pegs. One of the most desirable of all cabinets by this renowned maker! #6990
SERPENTINE HERZOG RECORD CABINET

SERPENTINE RECORD CABINET
This nice mahogany cabinet by Salter will house your 10 or 12" records in felt-lined and fully indexed sleeves. The front double doors and top are in an elegant serpentine shape. #6874
RECORD OR CYLINDER CABINET
A rare and unusual serpentine, ribbon mahogany, cabinet. Fitted with a storage drawer above the two doors, which when opened have interior shelves for either records or cylinders. The design is similar to the style of cabinets made by Herzog for Regina and Columbia, and indeed may have been a limited production designed to match some of their designs. #6822
HERZOG "ART DECO" DOUBLE-STACK RECORD CABINET
A great and unusual mahogany record cabinet, made by the Herzog Art Furniture Company. Measuring 36" wide, it is large enough to place two of your prize phonographs on top. Each of the two locking record stacks rotates about a central axis, thus allowing access to the individually numbered record slots without much space needed on either side of the cabinet. #6639
VICTOR RECORD ALBUM STORAGE CABINET
This unique cabinet is designed to hold standard Victor 10" record albums. There are internal divider slots for each album. A custom design made about 30 years ago, with leaded stain glass replica of the Nipper logo. The cabinet is of solid oak construction. #6815

OAK CYLINDER CABINET WITH PEGS: #6859
