Made in France, c.1910, this automated globe clock revolves on a 24-hour cycle, as does the earth. With an annular 24-hour time dial around the equator, one sets an adjustable indicator to indicate the meridian and thus can read the time at any point around the globe. With a globe made in Scotland, this was aimed primarily at the British market and was labeled and sold by Smith & Sons, London. Runs for a full eight days between windings. A unique clock in wonderful condition. #8913
