Mira Music Boxes
Miras were the products of the Swiss firm of Mermod Freres, who were based in St. Croix, and were pioneers in cylinder and disk music box development.
Size-for-size, Miras are arguably the finest-sounding disk music boxes ever produced.
Mira “Decal Console”
A wonderful Mira “decal console”, that plays size 18.5” disks, the largest made by this maker. The solid mahogany cabinet, adorned on the front, sides and top with musically-themed decals, is a favorite among music box aficionados world-wide. The storage compartment below the music box movement can hold up to 100 disks.
