swiss mikiphone miniature phonograph

Miniature “Mikiphone” Phonograph

Billed as the world’s smallest phonograph, this was made around 1930, and referred to as a “pocket gramophone”, folding up into a small case that fits into the palm of one’s hand. A marvel of Swiss engineering, with precise fit and finish of all the components. Will play up to size 10” records and the sound will amaze you.

Pathe Menestrel

An outstanding example of what some phonograph enthusiasts consider to be the most beautiful cylinder machine ever made. The green case with gold decorations and accents, and the ornate cast base, are stunning. This machine is capable of playing standard 2-minute cylinders and the larger Pathe “inter” cylinders by virtue of the slip-on mandrel and engineering similar to that lof the ubiquitous Columbia AB “Macdonald”. A highly desirable, collectible phonograph that will enhance any collection, large or small.

Early Pathe Menestrel

One of the rarest and most desirable early Pathe phonographs, this pre-dates the "Galois" of a similar design and shares the "Menestrel" name with the later version (also shown on this page).

Comes with the original wooden case, complete with dealer tags.

This is one of only two square-cased examples known to exist, and is in magnificent condition.
